Only a couple of weeks after Norgate repaired my vehicle covered by ICBC, I noticed the headlight they have put in has already gotten hazy, while the old headlight on the other side is perfectly fine. I looked at the repair sheet and found in a total bill of more than $3,000, they have spent $15 on new parts, so apparently they used all the parts from the scrap yards.
Beware these guys like to quote one thing to get the job, then once they have it the old line of "hidden damage" comes up as well as the repair bill. Before you pay make sure that everything is correct from bumper to bumper, electrical, steering, brakes etc. These guy tend to "rush" jobs, and in doing so they forget or ignore issues that need to be fixed the old "that's not included in the job". Get it in writting and be ready to fight till it's right. A new shop and being the oldest in town doesn't mean the work is done right or properly. Check your car out before you pay and if it's wrong file a complaint with ICBC and BCAA.
