Bride On A Budget began as a hobby for Kerry Parsons. She was doing corporate event planning through her work and decided to delve into wedding planning. She did three weddings her first year and loved it. The next year, she did 14, and in the third year, she planned a whopping 45 weddings. That’s a pretty time-consuming hobby. “I quit all my other jobs at that point. This was now my real job,” says Kerry.
Initially, Kerry wanted to fill a niche of creating grand weddings on small budgets. “Our mission was to ensure couples had the glam and glitz of a big wedding, but spent the dollars of a little wedding,” says Kerry. “We pulled off big weddings for $5,000 or less. We gave them the full venue experience and the DJ and everything.”
Bride On A Budget has branched out now and will now include wedding planning for any size and any budget. “We can focus on customizing our packages and services to any bride,” says Kerry. “Whether it’s a $5,000 dollar wedding or a $500,000 dollar wedding, the possibilities are endless. We are going to give the same service to every client no matter what situation they are in.”
