I love coming to Vandermeer to look for plants. Even if I don't find what I'm looking for, it's wonderful to see the fish and very relaxing to watch the turtles lounging around. This is the place to shop in the spring and summer - such a variety of plants.

I am a new home owner and wanted to do some upgrading in the landscape aspects for my new home. I called several dealers, but decided on Farmboys. A small family owned business, provided me with time, knowledge, good price and quick delivery. I have been back several times since then for other products that they provide. They even have a greenhouse with great plants for my new vegetable garden. Thanks Farmboys!!!!

I ordered flowers on line for the first time from Canadiana Florists, not only did I get a call to confirm my order and that it got delivered I also was treated in the most respectful way when an issue came up with the credit card being used. In all my adult life I have never received such consideration from a business, my order was delivered on time and I was also thanked for the business. Wow, I will be definitely be making this site my main source for ordering flowers.

After getting quoted insane prices for a small repair to my backyard patio I decided to give it a try myself. The people there gave me a lot of help in determining how much and what I needed and after a little calling around I discovered the prices were quite reasonable. The nursery has a down to Earth vibe and its staff are more informed than other nurseries in the area. Prices began to rise in the last 2-3 years but this place is still more affordable than Sheridan. Complaints about emerald cedars not living should not solely be put on the nursery but planting and watering. The staff are busy so getting special treatment is difficult (referring to previous comments)

Reed and her staff also to help me with my planters. The Secret Garden at the back o the shop is the best for summer garden flowers. One of my favorite places in Toronto!

If you don't know East End Garden Centre you're missing out on one of the gems of Toronto! You will not believe how large their garden centre is or what a huge inventory of Annuals & Perennials they have. They also have Shrubs, Trees, Topsoil, Gravel, Rockery, Firewood - you name it, they have it! And so conveniently located on the border of the Beaches & Leslieville with easy parking - a city dweller's dream! I've been going there (Beacher) for 20+ years and these ladies know their stuff and are always helpful. I highly recommend them and give them 5 stars!

Love this place! It's like a secret garden in the heart of downtown toronto. I've been coming here for the past 9 or 10 years.
It's a family-run shop and the owners have been doing this for a while so they have a great eye for plants that people really like.
The plants are always healthy (it seems they're always unloading shipments of new plants when i'm there) and the prices are definitely on the lower end, especially compared to others north of the city. what more can i say? just a really great experience!
